Homemade warming granola

Every cup of yogurt tastes better with it, but homemade granola is also delicious on your pancakes, as a topping on a crumble, or great to take in a jar if you're invited somewhere else for breakfast. We especially love granola with a good dose of spices.

Pumpkin waffles with chai syrup

If you want to make a truly festive breakfast, then waffles are the way to go. By incorporating pumpkin into the batter, you immediately get some vegetables in, and pumpkin pairs perfectly with the delicious chai flavors. Also great to serve with fresh seasonal fruit. Fresh strawberries or orange slices: it's guaranteed to be a treat.

Make your oatmeal special

Nothing wrong with a bowl of oatmeal! But make it special with tasty spices and a few delicious toppings. Also nice: make mini bowls of oatmeal to serve during a more elaborate breakfast with other delicacies. What should definitely not be missing is our delicious Wild Ceylon Cinnamon from Sri Lanka as a flavoring. We (and many before us) cannot do without this cinnamon when making a bowl of oatmeal.

More into savory? Try this shakshuka with cardamom

Perhaps all that sweet breakfast goodness isn't for you, and you prefer to start your day with a savory meal. A fried egg (with a generous pinch of black pepper, of course!), for example, or how about a delicious shakshuka? Shakshuka is a one-pan dish where eggs are poached in a sauce with tomatoes, bell peppers, and usually red pepper. Delicious for dipping with a piece of sourdough bread. This variant with cardamom gives it a slightly different twist. Cardamom and tomatoes go surprisingly well together. A delicious spicy dish to start the day right!
